- Own awards, conferences and industry engagement as a structured, planned annual programme
- Develop retailer, employer and community content, including compliance guidance, retailer recognition, employer branding and community/CSR content
- Turn Product's approved technical information into clear, factual product instructions and customer education content - including product compatibility, safety, troubleshooting and FAQs, and authenticity, recycling and disposal information — while Product remains accountable for technical accuracy
- Own and grow the WhatsApp, email and CRM infrastructure carrying trade communications and the product launch toolkit to trade audiences
- Own all internal and external crisis communications and pre-approved holding statements - including for product quality, safety or recall-adjacent incidents, where Quality/Regulatory owns the incident itself and the technical response while this role owns the communications, coordinating with Product and Supply Chain per the Cross-Functional Working Model - plus day-to-day reputational risk monitoring
- Manage external PR agency partners where used - brief, govern and measure performance
- Work closely with the Head of Marketing on cross-departmental communications planning and governance
- Submit every external item through the three-step approval process - business approval, responsible-marketing and governance review, and independent Legal/Compliance/Regulatory sign-off - before release
- Report progress against media coverage, share-of-voice, content and podcast/video measures to the Head of Marketing on the agreed governance cadence, with activity and evidence tracked in IVG Hub
