Our Dicky Birds Nursery, in Dundonald Road, is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Nursery Practitioner to join our team. You will play a key role in caring for, supporting and inspiring our children, encouraging curiosity and helping them thrive every day.

About Our Nursery
Dicky Birds Dundonald Road Day Nursery and Preschool in Wimbledon is a welcoming nursery opposite Dundonald Park. The bright, spacious ground-floor setting with a secure garden provides a safe, nurturing environment where children can explore, play, and learn.

Location and Travel
Dicky Birds Wimbledon Nursery is a 5-minute walk from Wimbledon town and located opposite Dundonald Park, near a primary school for easy access as your child grows. Dicky Birds also operates nurseries in Raynes Park and Surbiton, offering the same warm, nurturing care.

What will you be doing

Promote high standards of quality within the nursery in respect of the environment, resources and experiences offered to children
Assume key carer responsibilities for designated children
Ensure that all children attending the nursery receive rich and stimulating experiences appropriate to their age and stage of development
Prepare and support children’s activities
In the absence of the Team/Room Leader maintain effective day-to-day management of the environment
Contribute to ensuring that practice and provision in the nursery meets the requirements of the Early Years Foundation Stage
Support and mentor students and un-qualified staff to ensure delivery of high-quality childcare practice
