Warehouse Goods In Clerk (days)

Location: Bidfood Reading, Unit 7, Worton Drive, Reading RG20TG
Shift pattern: Monday to Friday
Shift times: 06:30 - 15:00
Salary: £34510.11

Play an important part in our journey

As a Warehouse Goods In Clerk, you'll work across our ambient warehouse environments, helping to prepare customer orders for delivery.

Working as part of a supportive and hardworking team, you'll play a key role in ensuring products are in the right place at the right time, so our drivers can leave on schedule and our customers receive the service they expect.

This is a fast-paced, hands-on role where no two days are the same. If you like to stay busy and want to make a real difference behind the scenes, you'll fit right in.

What you'll be doing

An opportunity has arisen for an administrator in busy and demanding goods in office.

The department delivers excellent results in service levels and stock integrity and provides day-to-day support for the Goods In & put away teams. This role will be based at Reading Bidfood.

As part of this team, you will be responsible for providing high quality customer care to both internal and external customers, ensuring that all admin is dealt with efficiently and to the satisfaction of management and customers.

The role will be day-to-day admin during the shift dealing with drivers at the window area, checkers from warehouse, computer work plus telephone contact

To be successful in this role you will need to be an organised and flexible individual and a good team player and able to work on your own initiative, to be computer literate to intermediate level would be advantageous.

An excellent telephone manner is essential, along with the ability to work well under pressure, well organised with excellent attention to detail.

Warehouse or multi-temperature experience is helpful, but not essential
