Our client, CARGO KING (U.K.) LIMITED is recruiting an International Logistics Operator (Korean Speaking) to join their business in the UK.

Location: 450 BAH ROAD, LONGFORD, WEST DRAYTON, UB7 0EB, THE UNITED KINGDOM

1. Job Overview

Occupational category: International Logistics Operator
Personnel: 1
Foreign language skills: Fluency in English & Korean

2. Roles and Responsibilities

Negotiating rates and booking spaces for goods on trains, ships and planes
Planning the most suitable mode of transport and route, taking into account deadlines and type of goods
Arranging the packing and storage of goods before transportation
Confirming shipping arrangements and details with carriers and clients
Dealing with customs to clear goods to be transported
Working out import and export duties
Arranging payment for freight services and other charges
Preparing quotes, invoices and all necessary licences and paperwork
Working out the details of transport and insurance costs
Perhaps specialising in one type of business, such as importing perishable goods like fruit
Freight forwarding experience is a plus

3. Qualifications

Must be eligible for full-time employment.
Candidates with experience in forwarding/logistics preferred.

4. Other information

Visa: Legal Visa Holders (Working Holiday Visa, Graduate etc.)
Annual Salary: 25K-35K, Decision after interview*
Recruitment: Full-time
Working hours: 8 hours / 5 days (1 hour lunch break not included)
Schedule: 8 hour shift / Day shift / Monday to Friday
Holiday: 28 days (Incl. Public Bank Holiday)
Benefits : Birthday Bonus / Round trip (direct flight ticket to Korea) for the first holiday after working for more than one year / First-half performance pay, year-end performance pay (for a permanent role) / Coffee and drink provided
Recruitment due date: Rolling basis

4. Process

1st: Document review (Written review of submitted documents such as resume, self-introduction letter, and certificate)
2nd: Interview (comprehensive evaluation of skills required for job performance through interview and foreign language evaluation)
