Want to be part of our community? We’re currently recruiting for a Parashoot Housing Officer to join our Parashoot Housing Support Team

What you’ll achieve in the role:

The overall purpose of this role is to provide customer-focused, individualised, outcome-focused support to enable customers to secure, maintain, or set up a new tenancy and avoid homelessness.

Key responsibilities include:

Enable customers to live independently by assessing new referrals, identifying support needs, and co-creating personalised support plans that promote dignity, choice, and confidentiality.
Increase tenancy sustainment and prevent eviction by helping customers develop practical skills to manage their home, such as understanding tenancy responsibilities and day-to-day household tasks.
Improve access to external services by identifying specialist needs and connecting customers with the appropriate support providers in a timely and coordinated way.
Promote customer safety by identifying and escalating safeguarding concerns promptly and following Raven’s safeguarding procedures to ensure appropriate action.
Ensure accountability and consistency by maintaining accurate, up-to date, and well-organised support records, including completed and reviewed support plans.

What you’ll bring to Raven:

For this role, we are looking for someone with the following:

Knowledge of assessment and support planning systems
Excellent communication skills
Understanding of the housing support needs of vulnerable people.
Knowledge of benefits systems
Admin and record keeping skills
Full clean driving licence.
