About the company

Fincrew is a fintech startup building modern mobile financial products. We focus on delivering reliable, secure, and user-friendly solutions with strong attention to product quality and user experience.

About the role

We are looking for a QA Engineer / Mobile App Tester to help ensure the quality and stability of our mobile application across all stages of development.

You will work closely with developers, product managers, and designers in a fast-paced Agile environment with weekly sprints.

Key responsibilities

Test mobile applications (iOS and Android)
Perform functional, regression, and smoke testing
Identify, document, and track bugs using issue tracking tools (e.g. Jira)
Validate new features within weekly sprint cycles
Collaborate with developers to reproduce and resolve issues
Maintain and update test cases and checklists
Participate in release testing and quality assurance processes

Requirements

min 1 year of experience in software testing (mobile applications preferred)
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Experience with bug tracking tools (Jira, Trello, or similar)
Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
Experience working in Agile teams (sprints, planning, retrospectives)

Nice to have

Basic experience with API testing
Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Appium, Selenium)
Experience in fintech or financial applications
Understanding of security and data protection principles

Languages

English — required (working proficiency)
Russian — a plus

Important

Candidates should have the legal right to work remotely (UK/EU compliance depending on jurisdiction)
Contract-based cooperation (B2B / freelance) may be considered
