ABOUT US

An exciting opportunity to work for a USA based private equity owned business in the UK & EMEA manufacturing sector. We manufacture a wide selection of epoxies and adhesives, widely used in the marine, automotive and action sports industries. You’ll be part of our factory team, responsible for the manufacturing of our well renowned products.

AIM

To provide a proactive service within the Dispatch area of the factory to meet the needs of our customers, ensuring high quality, accuracy and service levels are met within the required timescales.

The job involves dealing and handling manufactured Resins, Hardeners and Adhesives on an everyday basis. The key objective is to pick and pack a variety of containers and cartridges with several ranges of Resins, Hardeners and Adhesives. As our products are what our customers see representing the business, Cleanliness and accuracy are an essential part of this job.

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Process orders for Dispatch providing accurate documentation in accordance with the company’s procedures.
Receive and book goods in to correct locations in an accurate and timely manner, liaising with Supervisors and Managers for planning and for any other discrepancies or quality issues
To distribute and store in-bound materials.
Process, pack and label containers in an accurate and timely manner to achieve on time delivery targets.
Maintain stock to agreed levels and ensure accuracy through regular counts
Investigate stock discrepancies and provide feedback and actions to improve service
Undertake all tasks as required in accordance with Wessex Resins working practices and quality procedure
Maintain the highest standards of housekeeping in all areas
Ensure Health and Safety policies and procedures are always adhered to especially due to the fact that you will be dealing with chemicals.
Carry out any other reasonable duty as requested by the Dispatch Manager.
Rotate to other areas when needed to assist and to learn new processes.

RENUMERATION AND PACKAGE

Hours of Work:

Based at Factory: Monday to Friday 08.30 to 16.30.

Salary:

£26,227.00 annual salary linked to new company and digressionary bonus scheme.

Bonus:

Entry to the Company’s Bonus scheme dependant on hitting the company target

Entry into the Company’s annual discretionary bonus scheme based on individual performance

Expenses:

All out of pocket work expenses when required.

Holiday Entitlement:

20 days plus bank holidays, building to a maximum of 25 for each full years’ service

Health Care:

Health insurance upon a successful probationary period.

Pension:

Enrolled within the company’s pension scheme.
