Metal Polisher/Finisher/Mechanical Fettler/Deburrer
The X-Cel Group are manufacturers of high specification component parts and assemblies, based in the national hub of engineering expertise – the Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) where this position will be based.
We are pleased to release the following brand new opportunity to join our valued team;
Semi-skilled Metal Polisher/Fettler/Deburrer - to effectively polish and buff high quality precision components to a high standard, plus pressure test in a mechanical manufacturing environment.
Duties and responsibilities of the Metal Polisher/Fettler/Deburrer will include but are not limited to:
- Finishing intricate products to high surface finish standards in small batch quantities
- Inspect quality of parts and report any issues
- Manual handling of metallic products up to 350mm in diameter (using lifting equipment)
- Uphold health and Safety, environmental and quality policies
- Flexible approach to work, and willing to support colleagues
Our successful candidate will have:
- Experience of a similar role, within a precision machining/engineering environment
- Strong work ethic and communication skills
- Willingness and ability to follow directions to achieve results
- The motivation to work alone whilst playing a crucial part of a larger team
Hours & Remuneration:
Monday-Thursday 07:00-16:00, Friday 07:00-12:00 (39 hours per week)
£12.83 per hour, plus overtime, plus profit share.
