Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Part Time 7.5 Ton Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver exceptional service by safely transporting goods across various locations. As a key member of our delivery operation, you will play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient deliveries while maintaining high safety standards. Responsibilities

Safely operate a 7.5-ton truck to deliver goods to designated locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Load and unload cargo with care, ensuring items are secured properly for transit
Plan delivery routes efficiently to optimize time and fuel consumption
Communicate effectively with dispatch to coordinate delivery schedules and updates
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure optimal performance and safety
Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs and delivery confirmation records
Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries

Requirements

Valid driving license with appropriate endorsements for operating a 7.5-ton vehicle
Proven experience as a commercial driver, particularly with delivery routes and flatbed transportation preferred
Strong understanding of driving safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving
Delivery driver experience with a focus on punctuality, reliability, and customer satisfaction
Ability to handle physical tasks such as loading/unloading cargo and securing loads on flatbeds
Excellent navigation skills and familiarity with route planning tools
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
