Who are we?

About the job

To undertake Permanent Way maintenance, ETM inspection of the Island Line and other duties subject to personal competence.

Your main responsibilities will be:

Maintenance of P'Way
Component changing
Act as Lookout / COSS / Pilotman
Patrolman
To drive company road vehicles as required
De-icing operation
Assist carrying out general maintenance / station repairs

Ensure that all work records are kept up to date and that all entries are correct.

You'll need to be:

Competent in ELWI, strapping and isolation procedures.
Basic knowledge of COSHH
Good communication skills both written and oral
Hold a current PTS
DC Electrified lines
COSS / PICOP / ES
Emergency First aid trained
Look out competent
Points Winding
Track Handbook licenced.
ELWI and strapping standards
Pilotmans course
Successful completion of training relevant to the job

Safety responsibilities:

When required to set up safe systems of work for their personal and others safety
Monitor staff for compliance with the company's Alcohol and Drugs Policy and Procedures
Ensure all worksites are left in a safe manner

Working pattern

35 hours across 5 days per week.

Typical shifts include: 21:00 - 06:00 / 22:00 - 06:00 / 08:00 - 16:00
