Multi-Plant Operator – Scorrier & St Eval
We are looking for an experienced Multi-Plant Operator to join our team, working across our Scorrier and St Eval sites.This is a varied role suited to someone who is confident operating a range of heavy plant and is happy to move between sites depending on operational requirements, holiday cover and workload.
Main Duties
- Operating 360° swing shovel/excavators
- Operating loading shovels
- Operating dumpers
- General multi-plant operation across both sites
- Providing holiday and sickness cover for other plant operators
- Loading and moving aggregates, soils and processed materials
- Feeding processing and washing equipment where required
- Carrying out daily plant checks and basic operator maintenance
- Keeping machines clean and reporting defects promptly
- Assisting with general site operations when required
- Working safely around other plant, vehicles and personnel
What We're Looking For
Applicants should ideally have:
- Previous experience operating heavy plant in a quarry, recycling, waste, aggregates or construction environment
- Relevant and current CPCS, NPORS or equivalent plant tickets
- Experience on 360 excavators/swing shovels, loading shovels and dumpers
- Ability to confidently operate different machines rather than being limited to one role
- Good awareness of health and safety
- A reliable and flexible approach to work
- Willingness to work between Scorrier and St Eval
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Experience working around wash plants, recycling plants or aggregate processing equipment would be an advantage.The RoleThis is not a position where you will necessarily be on the same machine every day. Position: Full-time, permanent
