Job Overview

Join our vibrant bakery team as a Bakery Assistant, where your enthusiasm and culinary skills will help create delightful baked goods that brighten our customers’ day! In this energetic role, you will support the bakery operations by assisting with food production, preparation, and ensuring the highest standards of food safety. Your positive attitude and attention to detail will contribute to a welcoming environment where quality and customer satisfaction are always front and center. Duties

Assist in preparing ingredients and baking products according to established recipes and quality standards
Support food production by mixing, portioning, and assembling baked goods and other food items
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, adhering to food safety regulations
Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including mixers, ovens, and other baking tools
Help with packaging, labeling, and stocking baked goods for display or delivery
Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and ensure timely service

Skills

Experience in food preparation, cooking, or baking is highly desirable
Knowledge of food safety practices and standards within a commercial kitchen or restaurant setting
Strong understanding of kitchen operations, including food production processes
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude towards learning new techniques
Prior restaurant or culinary experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for baking is essential
Good communication skills to follow instructions accurately and coordinate with team members
