JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a committed and enthusiastic Dance Coach to join our team and support the delivery of our community dance programme across South Ayrshire.

This programme provides opportunities for children, young people and adults of all abilities to take part in fun, engaging and inclusive dance activities within their local communities. The role aims to inspire participation, promote physical activity and support individuals to develop their confidence, creativity and wellbeing through dance.

As a Dance Coach, you will lead and deliver a variety of dance sessions in community venues across South Ayrshire, creating a positive and welcoming environment where participants can learn new skills, express themselves and enjoy being active. You will play a key role in encouraging involvement, fostering inclusion and helping participants develop a lifelong enjoyment of dance and physical activity.

This post is considered to be Regulated Work with children and/or protected adults as specified in the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) (PVG) Act 2007. Accordingly, the preferred candidate will be required to become a member of the PVG Scheme, or undergo a PVG Scheme update if already a Scheme member, prior to any formal offer of employment being made.
