The Role

Working across GP practices in Glasgow and surrounding areas, you will provide clinical pharmacist services that directly improve patient outcomes and support practice teams.

Your responsibilities will include:

Conducting structured medication reviews
Independent prescribing within agreed clinical areas
Managing acute prescribing requests
Supporting chronic disease management
Identifying and resolving medicines-related safety issues
Medicines optimisation and prescribing governance activities
Working collaboratively with GPs, nurses and wider practice teams

This role offers the opportunity to develop long-term relationships with patients and colleagues while practising at the top of your licence in a highly rewarding clinical environment.

About You

We're looking for a pharmacist who:

Is registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)
Holds an Independent Prescribing qualification
Demonstrates strong clinical knowledge and prescribing confidence
Is patient-focused and committed to delivering high-quality care
Works effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Previous GP practice or primary care experience is desirable but not essential. We welcome applications from Independent Prescribing Pharmacists with relevant clinical prescribing experience from other healthcare settings.
