Job Description

Award winning luxury jeweller ROX has a unique retail jewellery formula showcasing contemporary jewellery and luxury brands, dramatically different store designs and high impact advertising that has elevated ROX to national prominence. We're looking for an operations assistant to join our team at our Head Office in Glasgow. You’ll be managing stock and providing back-office support to the shops.

Summary

As a member of our head office operations team, you will play a key role in driving excellence for the department, playing an integral role in supporting our sales teams in store to deliver exceptional customer service.

Job Description

Follow all merchandise management related processes and procedures, covering the booking in of deliveries and the effective organisation of stock.
Process the receipt and movement of merchandise and any necessary paperwork in a timely and effective manner.
Sort, ticket / label merchandise into pre-defined categories / SKUs.
Complete quality control checks of all incoming merchandise.
Raise any issues / concerns to your line manager and take appropriate action in a sensitive and timely manner.
Assist in completing monthly stock takes.
Ensure effective support is provided to our stores at all times, enabling the sales team to deliver an enhanced brand experience.
Ensure that high standards and effective operations are maintained at all times to ensure the business functions efficiently.

Skills

Previous experience within a jewellery, retail and/or head office environment desirable.
The ability and desire to learn about/ further your knowledge of diamonds, jewellery and watches.
Experience of working to targets and daily deadlines.
Positive attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team environment.
Lots of enthusiasm and a real passion to succeed.
Highly organised.
Sense of urgency while maintaining excellent attention to detail.
Ability to be flexible and adapt to change.

Location

Glasgow city centre. Starting Immediately.
