Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Payroll Coordinator to join our dynamic human resources team. In this vital role, you will oversee the accurate processing of payroll, ensuring timely and compliant payments for all employees. Your expertise in payroll systems and accounting software will help streamline operations, support HR functions, and maintain precise records. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a well-organized payroll process that keeps our team motivated and engaged.

Responsibilities

Manage the end-to-end payroll process using systems such as Bright HR and Sage to ensure accurate and timely employee payments, for weekly and monthly payroll.
Perform data entry tasks related to employee hours, wages, deductions, and benefits with precision and attention to detail.
Reconcile payroll data with accounting software and other financial systems to ensure consistency across records.
Collaborate with human resources to verify employee information, handle new hires, terminations, and changes in employment status.
Process accounts payable related to payroll expenses, ensuring all payments are correctly authorised and recorded.
Conduct analysis of payroll data to identify discrepancies or errors and implement corrective actions promptly.
Maintain comprehensive payroll records, ensuring compliance with company policies and legal regulations.

Qualifications

Proven experience working with payroll systems..
Strong knowledge of accounting software and general ledger processes.
Excellent analysis skills to review payroll data for accuracy and resolve issues efficiently.
Prior experience in accounts payable or finance-related roles is preferred.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
