Full job description

Here, at GXO, we're looking for a driven and ambitious First Line Manager to join our Abercrombie & Fitch operation in Rushden. This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front, driving operational excellence while creating a positive and engaging culture for your team. You'll play a key role in delivering performance against KPIs, championing safety, improving processes and developing people to reach their full potential. If you're passionate about leadership, continuous improvement and delivering exceptional customer service, this could be your next career move.

This is a full time, permanent position, working Sunday to Thursday, 14:00 till 22:00.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £33,259.20 per annum, and 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays). What you’ll do on a typical day:

Lead, coach and develop operational teams to achieve performance, productivity and quality targets
Monitor and drive key operational KPIs while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement
Foster a positive, inclusive and high-performing team culture through effective communication and engagement
Ensure full compliance with health & safety standards, company policies and operational procedures
Investigate operational issues, resolve challenges and work collaboratively with support departments to deliver excellent service

What you need to succeed at GXO:

Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role within a warehouse, logistics or operational environment
Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and engage people at all levels
A self-motivated, proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of challenges and initiatives
Experience using Microsoft Office, WMS systems and working knowledge of operational processes and procedure
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a focus on operational excellence
