Look no further! We have a fantastic opportunity to join the Visitor Welcome Team here at Preston Park Museum at an exciting time, with a bold and modern extension to the existing museum having just opened last summer.
We are looking for a new Visitor Welcome Assistants to join the existing team, ensuring that everyone who visits has an enjoyable and memorable experience and contribute to achieving excellent standards of customer care.
In this varied and rewarding position, you will:
- Welcome and engage visitors, making their experience enjoyable, accessible and memorable.
- Deliver exceptional customer service across the museum, admissions desk and retail areas.
- Help bring the museum to life, supporting with learning and community engagement activities.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Enjoys working with people and creating positive visitor experiences.
- Has experience in a customer-facing environment such as hospitality, leisure, retail, heritage or tourism.
- Can work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Has a flexible approach and is willing to support a variety of museum activities.
- Has an interest in museums, heritage, history, culture or the arts.
Please note that regular weekend and bank holiday working is an essential requirement of this role.
The roles are available on either a full or part time basis.
