Overview

Join our dynamic culinary team as a Junior Sous Chef, where your enthusiasm for food and hospitality will help create memorable dining experiences. As a Junior Sous, you will support senior chefs and kitchen staff in daily food production tasks, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality are maintained. Duties

Assist in food preparation and cooking under the guidance of senior kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
Support food safety protocols by maintaining cleanliness and proper storage of ingredients and equipment.
Help supervise junior team members during shifts, fostering a cooperative and efficient work environment.
Contribute to food production processes, including portioning, plating, and garnishing dishes to meet quality standards.
Collaborate with the team to manage kitchen operations smoothly during busy service hours.
Participate in training sessions on culinary techniques, food safety regulations, and hospitality best practices.
Support serving staff by preparing ingredients or assisting with order assembly when needed.

Qualifications

Previous experience in food production, cooking, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential.
Demonstrated supervising or team management experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is highly desirable.
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and procedures.
Experience with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen equipment operation.
