Overview

Embark on an exciting journey as a Junior Quantity Surveyor, where your enthusiasm and attention to detail will drive the financial success of construction projects. In this role, you will support the estimation, cost control, and financial management processes, ensuring projects stay within budget and meet quality standards. Duties

Assist in preparing accurate cost estimates and budgets for various construction projects
Monitor project expenditures and perform cost control activities to prevent overruns
Support the procurement process by obtaining quotes and reviewing supplier and subcontractor invoices
Collaborate with project teams to track changes and update financial records accordingly
Conduct site visits to gather data, verify quantities, and ensure compliance with project specifications
Prepare reports on project costs, variances, and financial forecasts for review by senior surveyors
Maintain organized records of contracts, invoices, and other financial documentation

Requirements

A relevant qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field
Strong understanding of cost control principles within construction projects
Excellent numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and suppliers
Proficiency in MS Office applications; experience with industry-specific software is a plus
Ability to work proactively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently
