Heidi Bakery

Heidi is a founder-led bakery business with eight shops across London, Berkshire, Surrey and Hampshire – and growing – plus a craft bakery (Heidi Studio) in Windsor that supplies them all. We bake cakes for the Royal Family, have won five Great Taste Awards in the last two years, and produce around 50 bakery products daily – all made by hand by our own team.

The Role

We're expanding the team at Heidi Studio and are looking for a Bakery Chef to join us.

This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who enjoys working with fresh food and wants to develop their bakery skills. You'll be involved in the daily bake-off of our viennoiserie, support the production of our cakes and savouries, and help create the fresh products that are delivered to all eight of our bakery shops each day.

This is a new role created by growth, so you'll become an important part of a friendly, ambitious team with opportunities to learn and develop.

As we bake early each morning, you'll need to be able to travel to our Windsor production bakery for a 4:00am start. Working hours are 4:00am – 1:40pm, five days per week.

What You'll Be Doing

Working as part of the morning bake-off team, preparing our daily viennoiserie for all eight bakery shops.
Assisting with the production of cakes, traybakes, savouries and seasonal bakery products.
Preparing fresh bakery products to the high standards our customers expect.
Following recipes and production methods with consistency and attention to detail.
Maintaining excellent food hygiene, cleanliness and organisation.
Working as part of a supportive production team to ensure all daily orders are completed on time.

What We're Looking For

Experience working as a chef, baker or in a professional kitchen.
A passion for producing high-quality fresh food.
A willingness to learn bakery production and develop new skills.
Comfortable with early morning starts.
Reliable, hardworking and able to work well as part of a team.
Previous bakery or pastry experience is an advantage but is not essential — full training will be provided for the right person.
