Tame Cleaning are hiring for a cleaning operative to work in the B18 area.

Working hours are 12pm - 6pm, Monday to Friday
30 hours per week
Term time with additional work for deep cleans.

The successful candidate must show a positive work ethos and proven punctuality track record.

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Cleaning Operative to join our professional cleaning team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining high standards of cleanliness across various commercial premises. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a keen eye for detail and experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning. The position is paid and suitable for those looking to develop their skills within the cleaning industry.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, retail outlets, and other business premises
Use specialised cleaning equipment and products to ensure hygiene and safety standards are met
Maintain cleanliness of floors, surfaces, fixtures, and fittings according to company protocols
Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other consumables as required
Report any maintenance issues or hazards identified during cleaning tasks
Follow health and safety guidelines diligently to ensure a safe working environment
Adhere to scheduled cleaning routines and complete tasks within designated timeframes

Requirements

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential, as training will be provided

Reliability and punctuality are essential qualities for this role
Must be able to perform physical tasks including standing for extended periods, bending, and lifting light loads
