Full job description

Overview
We are seeking an Operations coordinator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in managing and processing orders, liaising with suppliers, production and dispatch. This position requires strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in various design software tools. The successful candidate will work closely with other departments to facilitate smooth operations and enhance customer satisfaction.

Duties

Process incoming orders accurately and efficiently using our order management system.
Collaborate with the factory floor to confirm order details and resolve any discrepancies.
Maintain up-to-date records of orders, inventory levels, and customer information.
Utilise software such as AutoCAD, EasyQuote, true blue or similar
Assist in project management by tracking order progress and ensuring deadlines are met.
Communicate effectively with suppliers regarding order status and delivery schedules.
Prepare reports on order processing metrics to identify areas for improvement.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly.

Requirements

Experience in the kitchen design industry essential

Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills to ensure accuracy in order processing.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
Previous experience in the kitchen manufacturing industry is essential.
