Full job description

Role Overview

We are looking for an organised and proactive Administrator to support the day-to-day management of maintenance and repairs across our residential lettings portfolio. This role is key to ensuring properties are maintained efficiently, landlords and tenants are kept informed, and contractors are managed effectively.

Key Responsibilities

Logging and managing repair and maintenance requests from tenants
Assessing maintenance issues and prioritising repairs appropriately
Liaising with landlords for repair approvals where required
Instructing and coordinating contractors and tradespeople
Chasing progress and ensuring works are completed within agreed timescales
Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate repair records
Communicating clearly with tenants, landlords, and contractors via phone and email
Ensuring repairs comply with relevant legislation and safety standards
Handling follow-ups, invoices, and queries related to maintenance work
Property visits time to time required

Skills & Experience Required

Previous experience in property management, lettings, or repairs administration preferred
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Confident communicator with good telephone and email manner
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Good IT skills (property management software experience an advantage)
Calm, professional, and solution-focused approach
Attention to detail and accurate record-keeping

Bonus Structure

Performance-related bonus, based on factors such as:
Efficient turnaround of repairs
Positive landlord and tenant feedback
Cost control and contractor performance
Bonus paid quarterly or annually (to be confirmed)
