Join Our Growing Team at Gill Marsh Forecourts Limited!Temporary Sales Assistant (Long-Term Sickness Cover)

Location: Bilsby Store
Hours: Minimum 15 hours per week
Pay: £12.75 per hour

Gill Marsh Forecourts Limited is a proud and expanding operator of SPAR convenience stores and forecourts, committed to providing exceptional service and high-quality products to our local community. We aim to offer a welcoming shopping experience that meets the diverse needs of our customers, and we are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join our team at our Bilsby store.

This is a temporary position providing long-term sickness cover, offering 15 hours per week. The role will continue until the employee returns to work or the cover is no longer required.

About the Role

As a Sales Assistant, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the store by:

Providing excellent customer service and assisting customers with their purchases.
Operating the till and processing transactions accurately.
Replenishing shelves and maintaining attractive product displays.
Preparing hot food, pastries, cakes, and other Food To Go products to company standards.
Maintaining high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and safety throughout the store.
Helping ensure the store is clean, well-stocked, and welcoming at all times.
Working as part of a team to deliver an excellent shopping experience.

No two days are the same, making this an ideal role for someone who enjoys variety and working in a busy retail environment.

What We're Looking For

A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
A positive, friendly, and reliable attitude.
The ability to work well as part of a team.
Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Previous retail, hospitality, catering, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
