VRS Lead Installer

What you'll be doing

As a VRS Lead Installer, you'll take responsibility for leading the safe and efficient installation of Vehicle Restraint Systems (VRS) across a variety of highway and infrastructure schemes.

Your responsibilities will include:

Leading VRS installation teams to deliver work safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards
Coordinating daily site activities, including site set-up and traffic management requirements
Ensuring all works comply with National Highways Sector Schemes and industry standards
Reading and interpreting drawings, carrying out site measurements, and overseeing accurate installation
Promoting a strong health, safety, and environmental culture on site
Liaising with Site Managers, Engineers, and Clients to ensure smooth project delivery
Supporting and developing team members to achieve successful project outcomes

Who you'll work with

You'll be working alongside a highly skilled and supportive team delivering projects across major frameworks, including National Highways and local authority schemes. Working closely with Site Managers, Engineers, and Operational teams, you'll play a key role in delivering infrastructure that benefits communities and road users across the country.

What we're looking for

We're seeking a hands-on, motivated leader who has a strong background in VRS installation and a commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork.

Essential requirements:

Proven experience installing Vehicle Restraint Systems on highways or major infrastructure projects
Previous experience leading or supervising site-based teams
Strong understanding of health and safety requirements and relevant industry standards, including NHSS 2
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and site instructions
Valid CSCS card
Valid HGV Licence (essential)
Full UK driving licence
Flexibility to work nights and occasional weekends when required
