Position: Business Support Officer

Location: Newton-Le-Willows

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £26,800 PA

About the Role

We are looking for a highly organised and motivated Business Support Officer to join our busy care office. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our care service, ensuring the office runs efficiently while delivering excellent administrative support to the management team, care staff, clients, and external professionals.

Key Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive administrative support to the office and management team.
Answer telephone and email enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Maintain accurate client and staff records in line with GDPR requirements.
Support recruitment administration, including onboarding, compliance checks, and maintaining personnel files.
Monitor office supplies and coordinate equipment orders.
Ensure policies, procedures, and documentation are kept up to date.
Liaise with healthcare professionals, local authorities, and other stakeholders.
Support regulatory compliance and quality assurance processes.

About You

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in an administrative or business support role.
Experience working within a health or social care environment (desirable).
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and office management systems.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential information.
The ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
A positive, proactive, and flexible approach to work.
