Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Laundry Assistant to join our clients team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness and organisation of laundry for the staff on the shop floor. This position is temporary for 6-10 weeks.

Duties

Operate laundry machinery such as washers, dryers, and folding equipment efficiently and safely
Sort, load, and unload laundry items including linens, towels, and guest clothing
Monitoring when overalls come to end of life and reporting to purchasing when new are required.
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe working environment
MUST be able to use sewing machine to do small repairs as and when needed
Keep work areas clean and tidy, adhering to hygiene standards

Qualifications

Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Good organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks
Strong commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Applicants are required to work 15 hours per week, 3 hours per day.

Pay: £12.71 per hour
