Full job description

Languages: English (primary language with customers), French, Spanish (preferred)

Experience: 3–5 years in customer service

Skills: Excellent communication, responsibility, sense of urgency, teamwork.

Supervisor: Sales and Business Development Manager and sales Director

Job Objectives:

The Customer Service Representative will act as the primary point of contact for customers, mainly in the United Kingdom and Europe. Responsibilities include handling phone calls and emails, processing orders, confirming orders with customers, preparing shipping labels and customs documentation, opening customer files, following up on credit requests, applying the company’s credit policy, preparing and recording quotations, managing customer accounts, maintaining customer communication, invoicing, collections, and customer satisfaction follow-up.

Key Responsibilities:

- Handle customer calls, emails, and correspondence promptly.

- Promote the company’s products and services.

- Return customer calls according to company procedures.

- Prepare quotations and obtain internal approval.

- Process and monitor customer orders from entry through delivery.

- Coordinate field technicians and customer schedules.

- Manage customer accounts according to company procedures.

- Help improve sales and customer service processes.

- Maintain customer order procedures.

- Participate in trade shows when required.

- Support both Heavy Machinery and Crane divisions as needed.

Administrative Duties:

- Answer and redirect telephone calls.

- Prepare shipping and customs documentation.

- Open and manage customer files.

- Follow up on customer credit requests.

- Manage invoicing, account statements, and collections.

- Assist with administrative tasks.

- File paper and electronic documents promptly.

- Perform any other related duties as required.

The company specializes in heavy machinery instrumentation and offers an international, high-technology work environment. English and French are essential; Spanish is considered an asset. The on-site work schedule can be adapted according to the candidate’s needs.

Requirements:
