Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and experienced Mini Bus Driver to safely transport passengers within designated routes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, a good understanding of vehicle maintenance, and a professional attitude. This role offers an opportunity to contribute to a reliable transportation service, ensuring passenger safety and comfort at all times.

Duties

Safely operate the mini bus along scheduled routes, adhering to traffic laws and company policies
Assist passengers with boarding and alighting, providing courteous and professional service
Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after shifts to ensure safety standards are met
Perform basic maintenance checks and report any mechanical issues promptly
Maintain accurate records of journeys, mileage, and fuel consumption
Communicate effectively with dispatchers and passengers to coordinate schedules and address any concerns
Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times
Follow all health and safety regulations, including COVID-19 protocols where applicable

Requirements

Valid <PERSON> driver’s licence with a clean driving record
Proven experience in commercial driving or as a delivery driver preferred
Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting
Strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written
Experience operating mini buses or similar vehicles is highly desirable
Excellent driving skills with a focus on safety and passenger comfort
Ability to work flexible hours, including early mornings or late evenings if required
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage routes efficiently
Physical ability to assist passengers if necessary and perform routine vehicle checks
Must have PCV D1 and a valid CPC

This role is essential for providing dependable transportation services while ensuring passenger safety through professional driving practices.

Pay: £14.00-£15.00 per hour
