Summary

As a Contact Center Representative at Tima, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients across the health and fitness sector. This is a target-driven role focused on achieving specific outcomes for our clients, including generating new member sales, booking appointments, retaining existing members, and delivering exceptional customer service.

You will engage with both prospective and existing gym members through a variety of outbound and inbound campaigns. Whether you're speaking to someone considering joining a gym for the first time or helping an existing member remain committed to their fitness goals, your ability to build rapport, understand needs, and communicate effectively will be key to your success.

Responsibilities

Conduct proactive outbound calls to prospective and existing members on behalf of our clients.
Engage with potential members to generate interest, answer questions, and support membership sales objectives.
Carry out retention and member engagement calls, helping members overcome barriers and continue their fitness journey.
Handle inbound calls with professionalism, confidence, and excellent telephone etiquette.
Identify member needs and recommend appropriate memberships, services, offers, or solutions.
Promote additional services, products, and club opportunities where appropriate.
Accurately record all interactions, outcomes, and customer information within company systems.
Work towards individual and team performance targets across sales, retention, quality, and member satisfaction metrics.
Build positive relationships with members and prospects, creating outstanding experiences that reflect our clients' brands.
Collaborate with colleagues and management to improve campaign performance and customer outcomes.

Requirements

A genuine passion for health and fitness and a desire to help people achieve their goals.
Confident communicator with excellent spoken English and strong interpersonal skills.
Comfortable speaking with both prospective members and existing members over the phone.
Previous experience in a contact centre, telesales, customer service, membership sales, or retention role is preferred.
Ability to listen, understand customer needs, and present appropriate solutions.
Results-focused with the confidence to work towards sales, retention, and performance targets.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate customer records.
Experience with upselling, cross-selling, or consultative sales techniques would be advantageous.
Positive attitude, resilience, and the ability to build rapport quickly with a wide range of people.
Experience in managing CRM software and working with Excel spreadsheets (Desirable not a requirement)
