Full job description

Our Swindon facility houses our Zydis® fast dissolving tablet development and manufacturing operation as well as a CMC pharmaceutical analytical lab services unit that offers ASAP stability.

Position Summary

We have an opportunity for a Trainee Technicians to join our team in the Operations department. This team is responsible for transforming raw materials into high-quality Zydis Tablets through a series of processes. You will learn basic tasks across all areas and develop competence in your main area. You will also support Technicians and Lead Technicians to maintain production schedules and ensure smooth operations.

Shift: Shifts - 2 days (7am - 7pm), 2 nights (7pm - 7am) 4 days off
Location: Swindon, UK
100% Onsite

The Role

Operate and develop skills in areas such as Dispense & Mixing, Form Fill Freeze, Sealing, and Secondary Packaging.
Minimise downtime, improve equipment availability, and reduce turnaround times.
Ensure compliance with current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP), Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and maintain accurate batch records.
Perform in-process checks and audits to uphold quality standards.
Promote safety best practices and participate in risk assessments and investigations.
Support training and development of team members and maintain your own training record.
Drive waste reduction, 5S, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Assist with additional tasks to ensure smooth production flow.

The Candidate

Minimum Requirements

Good standard of oral and written English.
Able to follow written instructions.
Able to complete written batch records.
Good IT skills.
Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) work experience preferable.
Manufacturing experience an advantage.
Ability to stand for up to 10 hours per day.

Preferred Skills & Background

Proven communication skills.
Good team player.
Proactive and open to change.
