Job Title: Field Service Engineer – Industrial Textile Digital Printing (Training Provided) Westbury (Wiltshire) based | Covering UK & occasional international travel
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm
Salary: £45,000 per annum + OTE

Are you a Field Service Engineer looking to work on cutting-edge industrial equipment, rather than routine service work?

At Adelco, we design and manufacture some of the most advanced automated digital textile printing systems in the world — combining robotics, inkjet technology, and high-speed production.

We’re now looking for a hands-on, customer-focused engineer to join our growing team, supporting installations and servicing across the UK.

The Role

We are seeking a Field Service Technician with strong digital printing experience to join our growing team. This is a home-based role, ideally suited to someone located in the Westbury, (Wilts) area, working remotely to support our digital printing and automation customers across the region and globally. While our head office is based in Bordon, Hampshire (GU35 0AX), this position is field-focused and does not require daily attendance at our main site. We are looking for a self-motivated engineer who enjoys travel, variety, and direct client interaction.

You’ll be responsible for:

Installing digital systems at Customer sites across the UK and occasionally overseas
Planning and managing service visits using CRM tools
Servicing digital printing systems for preventative, scheduled, and emergency maintenance
Supporting customers with enquiries, spare parts, and technical troubleshooting
In-house onboarding and training provided

Key Requirements

Essential: Hands-on experience with digital print systems (printheads, ink delivery, RIP software, HMI)
Knowledge of Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, and common RIP platforms
Strong electrical and mechanical fault-finding skills
Experience with PLC-controlled equipment and software
Excellent customer service and communication abilities
Proficient in Microsoft 365 and CRM platforms
Must hold a full UK driving licence
Ability to travel nationally and internationally as needed
Comfortable working independently or as part of a team

Ideal for engineers from photocopier, print, packaging or industrial equipment backgrounds.

A competitive basic salary of 45K per annum, with a fantastic OTE (includes paid overtime, travel time and bonus scheme)
