Job Overview

We are looking for friendly, reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our small team at River Arts Club, a boutique riverside hotel in Maidenhead, Berkshire.

If your looking for a role that offers a peaceful lifestyle, a beautiful place to live, and the opportunity to be a part of a welcoming team, we would love to hear from you.

This role is a paid volunteer position, the candidate will be provided free accomodation within the hotel, which includes their own private room and bathroom and be expected to work 30 hours a week.

10 of these hours a week will be paid, minimum wage, as the remaining 20 will be in exchange for the accomodation.

we are looking for candidates who can start as soon as possible!

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a friendly and professional first impression
Assist guests with check-in and check-out procedures,
light administration duties
Support the maintenance of the hotel’s cleanliness and organisation, including assisting with light housekeeping tasks if required
preparing and serving breakfast
help keep our indoor and outdoor spaces looking beautiful

Experience

we are looking for someone who enjoys working with people, takes pride in creating a peaceful and welcoming environment and happy to be part of a small team where everyone helps each other.

Previous experience in hotel or hospitality environments is highly desirable
Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanour
Knowledge of hospitality guest service
Ability to work independently in a live-in capacity, demonstrating organisational skills and reliability

This role offers an engaging opportunity for individuals passionate about hospitality to develop their skills within a supportive team environment. The successful candidate will be committed to delivering outstanding service while enjoying the benefits of live-in accommodation.
