The role
As a Vehicle Transport Driver, you'll play a vital role in supporting the safe movement, storage, inspection and basic maintenance of military vehicles across the Ashchurch site. Working within a busy logistics operation, you'll help ensure vehicles and assets are maintained, available and ready to meet customer and operational requirements.

Day-to-day, you will be required to:
Transport vehicles and assets safely across the site
Load and unload vehicles and equipment in line with operational requirements
Carry out basic vehicle maintenance checks, including oil and fluid inspections
Support vehicle storage operations and maintain the condition of assets
Report faults and maintain accurate records and documentation.
This is a full-time, permanent position based on-site at Ashchurch, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Essential experience of the Vehicle Transport Driver:
IT literate, with experience using Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel and Outlook
Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
Strong awareness of health and safety requirements
Good communication and teamwork skills
Ability to adapt to changing operational requirements.
Qualifications for the Vehicle Transport Driver:
Full UK Driving Licence
Category C+E Driving Licence (desirable)
Category H Driving Licence (desirable)
Material Handling Equipment Operator certification (desirable)
Experience within vehicle logistics, fleet management or a Ministry of Defence environment (desirable)
Knowledge of Motor Transport Safety Regulations (desirable)
Security Clearance
The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
