ExperienceYou dont need previous experience, you’ll get on the job training✅ What you’ll be doing with your team: - Unload, lift and relocate products- Scan, sort and divert packages containing the full range of Amazon’s products.- Receive and put away grocery inventory in the room-temperature, refrigerator, and freezer sections of the warehouse, working at temperatures as low as -23°C for periods of your shift.After training, you may also: Operate forklifts, reach trucks, or order pickers at elevated heights up to 40 feet, moving, stowing, and retrieving grocery items efficiently and safely.• Work indoors and outdoors in the yard ensuring safe operations for the team and our delivery partners. Skills you need: - Candidates must be 18 years or older and proficient in English, with the ability to understand and adhere to all job requirement and safety guidelines.- Your safety comes first. Safety. Your safety is important to us, so we provide protective gear. All teams share safety tips daily.
Surroundings. You’ll be working around moving machines – order pickers, stand-up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts.
Activity. Some activities may require standing in one place for long periods, walking around, or climbing stairs.
Temperature. You’ll work in freezer spaces — as low as -23°C — for up to four hours of your shift with short breaks every 45 minutes or you’ll work in the refrigerated spaces. You’ll be provided with proper safety gear and training.
Dress code. Relaxed, with a few rules to follow for safety. Comfortable, closed-toe shoes are required, and protective safety footwear are required in select business units.
