Full job description

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various premises, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for cleanliness and organisation to contribute to a professional environment. Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is desirable but not essential, as training will be provided.

Duties

Completing Laundry tasks such as washing, drying and ironing.
Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces to meet health and safety standards
Restock supplies such as toiletries, cleaning products, and consumables as needed
Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly
Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
Follow health and safety procedures at all times to create a safe working environment
Assist with organising storage areas and disposing of waste responsibly

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is advantageous but not mandatory
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
Ability to work independently and efficiently within set timeframes
Good communication skills and a professional attitude
Physical stamina to perform cleaning duties which may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
Reliable with a flexible approach to work hours as required
