Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Polisher to support the end stage process of vehicle repairs and wheel refurbishment.

In this role, you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with responsibility of ensuring each vehicle meets our high standards of quality and presentation.

Attention to detail and mechanical aptitude will be essential in delivering results; with ability to catch repair cycle misses to ensure vehicles leave the workshop and exceed customer expectations.

This position offers an opportunity to work with a dynamic team dedicated to excellence in vehicle care.

Duties

Carefully inspect vehicles to determine the appropriate polishing approach based on surface condition and desired finish
Operate hand tools, power tools, and polishing machines to achieve a smooth, glossy surface on various vehicle types
Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, or masking areas as needed before polishing begins
Perform heavy lifting when handling large or bulky vehicle parts or equipment safely and efficiently
Follow safety protocols consistently to prevent accidents during polishing procedures

Skills

Strong mechanical knowledge related to vehicle surfaces and polishing techniques
Proficiency with hand tools such as buffers, sanders, and detailing brushes
Experience operating power tools specific to automotive polishing and finishing
Ability to lift heavy objects safely
Excellent attention to detail with a keen eye for surface imperfections and finishing quality
Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management
Commitment to safety standards and proper equipment maintenance
