The Role
Your typical working hours will be Monday to Friday, with no weekend or bank holiday working, helping you maintain a healthy work-life balance.
This is an office-based role and you will be based at our Exeter Head Office:

You will report directly to Jack Taylor, Head of Finance.
Job Description
This role is essential in supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the business and ensuring our records remain accurate, organised, and compliant.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reconcile supplier statements and investigate invoice queries.
- Process and maintain purchase ledger records accurately.
- Support administration and document management, including historic invoice filing.
- Assist with company expense checking, monitoring, and processing.
- Prepare spreadsheets, reports, and financial summaries.
- Support month-end and year-end finance procedures.
- Maintain accurate records for audit and compliance purposes.
- Work closely with colleagues across departments to resolve account queries.
- Assist with general finance administration and business support tasks as required.
Person Specification
We are looking for someone who:
- Has excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Is organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
- Has strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Is trustworthy and able to handle confidential information appropriately.
- Can work independently whilst also being a valuable team player.
- Has a positive, can-do attitude and is willing to support the wider team when needed.
- Is confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Qualifications & ExperienceEssential
- Previous experience in an accounts, finance, bookkeeping, or administration role.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
Desirable
- AAT Level 2 qualification (or equivalent finance/bookkeeping qualification).
- Experience using accounting software.
- Previous experience within a fast-paced office environment.
