Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teacher to join our educational team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons that foster a positive learning environment for children aged 4 to 11 years. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact on young learners' academic and personal development, ensuring they acquire essential skills and knowledge in a nurturing setting.

Responsibilities

Plan, prepare, and deliver age-appropriate lessons across various subjects in accordance with the curriculum.
Create an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation and supports diverse learning needs.
Manage student behaviour effectively through positive behaviour management strategies.
Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support their development.
Organise and supervise activities that promote social, emotional, and physical growth.
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and guardians to support student well-being and educational success.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and behavioural incidents.
Ensure health and safety protocols are adhered to within the classroom and school premises.

Skills

Proven experience or strong interest in early childhood education or primary teaching roles.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Strong behaviour management abilities to maintain a disciplined yet nurturing classroom environment.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of learners.
Organised with the capacity to plan lessons efficiently and manage classroom resources effectively.
Passionate about fostering a positive learning atmosphere that inspires curiosity and confidence in young learners.

Pay: From £15.00 per hour
