The Role

We are seeking a proactive and organised Legal Support Assistant to join our Social Housing team. You will play a key role in supporting Legal Advisers delivering high-quality legal services to registered providers, housing associations, and other clients within the social housing sector.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a career in the legal industry within a purpose-led team that contributes to supporting communities and housing provision.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing administrative support to Legal Advisers within the Social Housing team
Drafting correspondence, legal documents, and forms
Managing files, ensuring accurate record keeping and compliance procedures
Handling client communications in a professional and timely manner
Assisting with billing, time recording, and file opening processes
Coordinating meetings, diary management, and travel arrangements where required
Supporting case progression and ensuring deadlines are met
Liaising with clients, external stakeholders, and internal teams

About You

Previous administrative experience (legal or professional services desirable but not essential)
Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
A team player with a positive, can-do attitude
Interest in social housing or public sector work is desirable
