Full job description

Hourly salary: £14.96 per hour

Alfa Holiday Group has an opportunity for a Bar Supervisor to join the team at The Cliffe Norton, Tenby.

Bar Supervisor working hours:

As a Bar Supervisor you will work circa 35 hours per week, including weekends, typically working 4:30pm - 11:30pm with an hourly rate of £14.96, regardless of age!

Bar Supervisor Responsibilities:

The main responsibilities of a Bar Supervisor will be to manage the effective running of the Hotel Bar, delivering a first-class service to our guests. This will include maximising bar sales, serving drinks in the bar and restaurant, managing a small bar team, whilst maintaining stock levels and ensuring all bar equipment is in good working order. It is important that the bar areas are clean, tidy and secure at all times. In addition, you will be involved in the evening entertainment from taking payments to participating in bingo calling and overseeing the charity fundraising evening.

Essential Skills:

Experience in a similar role
Able to lead and motivate a team
Strong communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Positive attitude and the ability to learn new skills quickly
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and keep calm under pressure
Good attention to detail and an expectation of high standards

Desirable Skills:

Knowledge of the travel, tourism and hospitality industry
Passion for the industry
Previous experience as a Bar Supervisor or similar role in a hospitality setting
