Full job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a vacancy working at Chameleon Bride as a bridal stylist. We are looking for someone who can work part-time: Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays. Weekdays would be 9-5 and Saturday 9-6.

Your job will involve helping brides find their dream dress. You would also be asked to assist in creating reels and images for our Instagram and tiktok content.

The ideal candidate must:

1) Have exceptional customer service skills. You must be a people person to succeed in this role. You will be required to handle large groups and deal with sensitive situations so self-assurance and confidence is necessary

2) be willing to work every Saturday (Saturdays are our busiest day and as such are non-negotiable. Please do not apply if you cannot commit to working every Saturday).

On a busy weekend it can be very tiring and physical with lifting the gowns to show the brides the dresses, but incredibly rewarding.

Your duties will include;

- Dealing with potential new and existing brides in one to one consultations.

- Advising on all aspects of bridal attire.

- Answering the telephone, dealing with queries and booking appointments

- Preparing the store for the days appointments

- Steaming and preparing dresses

- unboxing and checking over bridal gowns

- creating and coming up for ideas for our social media - including videos, photos and memes.

We are looking for someone who is enthusiastic and passionate about bridal and clothing.

Applicants must:

- Be confident, self-assured and well presented. Smart clothing is a must when selling high ticket items

- Be self motivated and passionate to succeed in a sales environment.

- have an eye for detail and a passion for clothing and styling.

This role would suit an approachable, warm individual who is able to quickly build rapport with our brides and their entourage. You must be a "people person". Our ethos is to create a memorable experience for our brides at their special time.

This is a role for a person who wants to really help our business grow and wants to be an integral part of that growth. The role is not suitable for someone looking for a mere stepping stone to another role/career.
