Full job description

The Bell and Bottle (Javari Restaurants) operates a premier chain of restaurants, banqueting halls and rooms including locations in Littlewick Green (Reading) and Farnham Common. We are seeking a commercial, detail-oriented, and proactive professional for a dual-impact role based at our headquarters in Twyford. You will drive traditional management accounting while overseeing core HR administration to support our operational teams and overall business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Financial Reporting: Prepare timely, accurate monthly management accounts, conduct detailed site-level variance analysis, and provide commercial commentary across our pub and restaurant portfolio. Data & Payroll Processing: Manipulate, process, and consolidate high-volume operational and transactional data, including weekly labor costs, site till rollups, and time & attendance inputs.

Budgeting & Forecasting: Collaborate with general managers to oversee budgeting cycles, control food and beverage margins, and leverage data to identify commercial trends. Treasury & Audit: Manage cash flow forecasting, monitor working capital, oversee supplier payments, and assist with year-end audit preparation and compliance.

Core Data Entry: Oversee and maintain accurate ledger entries, bank reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable inputs, and core day-to-day transaction records.

HR Administration: Manage day-to-day HR processes, including onboarding new starters, issuing employment contracts, maintaining personnel records, and monitoring right-to-work compliance.

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
