Full job description

Job Summary
We are looking to recruit an Experienced Stone Sawyer/Foreman to join our team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating advanced saw equipment to cut natural limestone and sandstone to exact specifications. This role requires a keen eye for detail. The Sawyer will play a crucial role in ensuring that production goals are met while maintaining high standards of quality.

This is a permanent position working on a shift basis 1.30 to 9.30pm, Monday to Friday.

Duties

Operate advanced saw equipment, including setting up and adjusting tools as necessary.
Conduct materials handling tasks, including the safe movement of materials within the factory.
Employ basic maths skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances accurately.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean working environment.

Requirements

Training will be provided where necessary.
Proficiency in using schedules and templates.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Good communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for collaboration within the team.
Forklift licence essential
