Summary

Caddick Construction is a family-owned business renowned for quality, integrity, and innovation in the construction sector. We are looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join our team, based in Warrington and covering our North West region. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced business partner who is confident working within a matrix management structure and has experience using HR systems to deliver a high-quality, people-focused service. At Caddick Construction, we value our people and prioritise collaboration, transparency, and career development. This is an excellent opportunity to become a vital part of our growing team.

What You’ll Do

Act as the first point of contact and trusted advisor for managers and employees across the North West region.
Provide advice and guidance on a full range of HR issues including employee relations, performance management, absence, and organisational change.
Partner with managers to support workforce planning, talent management, and succession planning.
Coach and support managers to develop their people leadership skills.
Support recruitment and onboarding activities to attract and retain top talent.
Analyse HR data to identify trends and support decision making, ensuring accurate use and maintenance of HR systems.
Lead and contribute to regional and group-wide HR projects and initiatives.
Work collaboratively with the wider HR team to ensure a consistent and joined-up approach across the business.

What We’re Looking For

Skills and Experience

Solid HR generalist experience, ideally in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
Experience working in a matrix management structure.
Strong knowledge of UK employment law and best practice.
Confident using and analysing data from HR systems to support decision making.
Experience of supporting managers through employee relations processes.
CIPD qualification or equivalent experience.
Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the region.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to build relationships at all levels.
Proactive, solutions-focused and confident in challenging and influencing where needed.
Organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
Collaborative, approachable, and a team player.
