Vycore Interiors Ltd is a specialist manufacturer and installer of high-quality bespoke joinery, cabinetry, and bar interiors. We specialise in crafting premium bars, restaurants, hospitality venues, and commercial interiors, alongside bespoke residential joinery. Our reputation is built on exceptional craftsmanship, precision, and attention to detail, delivering projects that combine functionality with outstanding design.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker to join our workshop team.

The Role

As a Bench Joiner / Cabinet Maker, you will be responsible for manufacturing bespoke furniture, cabinetry, and custom bar fit-outs from detailed technical drawings. This is a hands-on role that requires a high level of craftsmanship, accuracy, and pride in producing quality work.

You will play a key role in producing bespoke joinery for a variety of exciting hospitality and commercial projects, including bars, pubs, restaurants, hotels, and other high-end interiors.

Key Responsibilities

Manufacture bespoke bars, cabinetry, furniture, and joinery to a high standard.
Read and interpret technical drawings and production specifications.
Assemble cabinets, counters, bar units, wall panelling, shelving, and bespoke joinery components.
Operate woodworking machinery safely and efficiently, including panel saws, spindle moulders, and other workshop machinery.
Work with a variety of materials including MDF, plywood, laminates, veneers, solid timber, and decorative finishes.
Carry out quality checks throughout the manufacturing process.
Ensure all work is completed accurately and on schedule.
Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workshop environment.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve production deadlines and maintain the highest quality standards.

Essential Skills & Experience

Proven experience as a Bench Joiner, Cabinet Maker, Furniture Maker, or Bespoke Joiner.
Strong experience manufacturing high-quality bespoke joinery.
Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
Excellent knowledge of cabinet construction and joinery techniques.
Competent using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing first-class workmanship.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Strong organisational and time management skills.

Desirable Experience

Previous experience manufacturing bespoke bars or hospitality interiors.
Experience producing joinery for pubs, restaurants, hotels, or commercial fit-outs.
Veneering, laminate application, and solid surface fabrication experience.
Full UK driving licence.
