Job Description

Manning Boyce Windsor is looking for an experienced Motor Vehicle Technician (MET) / Strip & Fit Technician to join our busy and well-established bodyshop in Windsor.

This is a hands-on role suited to a skilled MET with solid experience in stripping and refitting accident-damaged vehicles. The successful candidate will be responsible for dismantling and rebuilding vehicles to manufacturer standards, ensuring all repairs are completed efficiently and to a high quality.

Key Responsibilities

Strip and refit mechanical and electrical components
Removal and replacement of panels, trims and interiors
Identify additional damage during dismantling
Prepare vehicles for paint and panel repair
Reassemble vehicles following manufacturer guidelines
Work efficiently to meet productivity targets
Maintain high standards of workmanship and safety

Candidate Requirements

Proven experience as a Motor Vehicle Technician (MET) / Strip & Fit Technician
Experience working in a bodyshop environment
Strong knowledge of modern vehicle mechanical and electrical systems
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good time management and attention to detail
Full UK driving licence (required)
