Full job description

We’re excited to offer a fantastic opportunity for a friendly, bubbly receptionist to join our dedicated team. This is a maternity cover vacancy with possibility of staying with us.

As a Receptionist some of your daily tasks will include:

Greeting patients when they arrive
Manage the appointment diary
Answer the phone and take messages
Take payments and reconcile end of day banking
Assist the Practice Manager as necessary
Organise and maintain oral hygiene stocks
Make sure the waiting room is neat and tidy
Keep files up to date and organised

We would also love someone who has an interest in social media and enjoys creating engaging content, designing posts, and keeping up to date with the latest trends to help grow and develop our Instagram and Facebook presence.

Skills required:

Good communication skills
Friendly, with an approachable personality
Be reliable with good time keeping
Competent IT skills, knowledge of 'Dentally' system desirable not necessary
Build and nurture a good working relationship with the clinicians and rest of the team.

Location is at our Town centre practice

Monday 8:00am-5pm

Tuesday 8:30am-7pm

Wednesday 8:30am-6pm

Thursday 8:30am-5pm

Friday 8:30am-5pm

Please note that during your training period, your regular working hours will be 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Overtime pay after 5pm.

Pay: From £13.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
