Full job description

Chassis Cab is a family run business that holds the award winning DAF Truck franchise for East Anglia.

Chassis Cab aims to provide our customers with a first class, reliable service, which reflects our standing as market leader as a main dealer for the supply of DAF Truck and in the provision of a second to none after sales.

We are looking to recruit an experienced Parts Advisor at our depot in Ipswich. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate who will be a great addition to our team.

Your key responsibilities:

Advise and supply parts over the phone, sales counter and to workshop technicians.
Effectively advise customers of their parts requirements either using skill and knowledge or computer programs
Take orders over the telephone, Company WhatsApp, email and sales front counter
Prepare orders for the customers and workshop
Place orders with suppliers and to update the customer/workshop of any news on the parts
Stock Control
To maintain marketing display areas by keeping them up to date with the latest product range - as required by your manager.

Qualifications and experience required:

You will maintain a professional and helpful attitude at all times
You will be computer literate
You will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service
You will have excellent communication skills
Driving licence is required

HGV and/or Trailer Industry knowledge & Experience will be advantageous but not essential. Market leading manufacturer training will be provided. FLT licence would be advantageous

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 40 hours per week - 08:00 - 17:00

Saturdays will be required on a rota basis as required by the business - normally on a 1 in 3 Saturdays.
